I first dabbled with polymer clay as a 17 yr. old kid more years ago than I care to think about! I did a few figurines, but then set the clay aside until the mid '80's when I began to create jewelry, ornaments, figurines, and home decor items that I sold at area craft shows and in shops, both local and across the country. I have now been working with clay professionally for over 30 years.

For several years during the late 1990's and early 2000's I worked as a freelance craft designer. I did a book for Design Originals on creating Christmas ornaments and my work also appeared in numerous other magazines and collaborative books. I worked as a designer for such companies as Polyform Products (the manufacturer of Sculpey brand clays), American Art Clay Co. (the former distributor of Fimo clays in the U.S.), and Plaid Enterprises (a major craft products manufacturer).

I have sold hundreds of pieces of my art on that other site that begins with an E for the past 23 years.

I find bringing little characters or animals to life from lumps of clay endlessly fascinating. Once an idea has taken hold of my imagination, my fingers begin rolling and shaping the clay and before long, a sweet little character is smiling up at me from my work table. It makes me so happy when people fall in love with my creations and want to display them in their homes or wear the jewelry I create. My clay creations have found homes not only throughout the U.S., but in numerous other countries as well over the years.
